Bethany Aponte, DC and Alejandro Aponte, DC

Bethany-Aponte-DC-and-Alejandro-Aponte-DCDr. Bethany, an Ohio native, initially planned on becoming a psychiatrist, but after shadowing a local chiropractor that specialized in chiropractic clinical nutrition, dietetics, exercise, vitamin and mineral supplementation and homeopathic medicine, she knew a holistic approach was her true calling. She enrolled at Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, FL and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. It was there that she met her husband, Dr. Alejandro Aponte. Dr. Alejandro, a Puerto Rico native, knew that he wanted to become a chiropractor from the early age of 10. Chiropractic care was a part of his normal family routine. His chiropractor had a great relationship with her patients. They loved seeing her and they left feeling great. It became his dream to share this special bond with his patients. Both doctors have had extensive training in chiropractic sports and nutrition. Dr. Alejandro plans on finishing his Sports Chiropractic Diplomate while Dr. Bethany plans on pursuing her Diplomate in Nutrition. They practiced in Miami before settling into the central Florida area and opening their practice in quaint Mount Dora.

At their clinic, they strive to achieve results as quickly as possible so that patients can return to an active, healthy life. Their philosophy is to treat and release the patient once they have decreased the pain, improved range of motion, and strengthened the area to prevent re-injury. After establishing these goals, they educate and empower the patient to become a proactive participant in their health. No cookie-cutter care plans are offered! All treatment is designed to maximize results for each unique individual. They believe in a quality care approach. They do not simply adjust the spine and send patients on their way. Through proper attention to detail, they arrive at an accurate diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing recovery times and patient costs. Their goal is not only to keep people moving, but keep them moving well so that they can remain active and have the lifestyle that they deserve with their families and friends.
