2016 Open

Screen Shot 2016-01-18 at 8.47.40 PMThe 2016 Open is upon us once again.  I always look forward to this time of year as it always brings a community together.  This year I would love to get a large contingent signed up and have the Open Workout get-togethers.  Now, before you say, I can’t do all of those movements.  I want to let you know, that’s ok.  The Open has a scaled version as well.  I have not been able to Overhead Squat for the last three years, so I was not able to participate in a WOD that had dem der suckhas in them.  🙂  However, I was able to participate in other Open Workouts and challenge myself.  My goal is not to go to the games.  My goal is to be the best me I can be and challenge myself.  That is the Awesomeness of the Open.  It takes you out of your comfort zone, and you will be amazed at what you and your body are capable of achieving.  At the end of the day, that is what CrossFit is about!  Less than 1% of our community will make it to Regionals and the Games.
